Union County is the fastest growing county in the state of North Carolina, and in 2006, was the 16th fastest growing county in the Nation. I am a native of Union County and have lived here all of my life except for (8) years that I lived in Miami, Florida. I have over 45 years of retail sales and management experience in business. I have been married to Pat since 1961 and am a long-time resident of Union County. We have two daughters and four grandchildren. I am an active member of West Monroe Baptist Church and a former member of the Monroe Rotary Club. I have served in various capacities for the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Monroe Jaycees.

Bob Parker helped my husband and I accomplish the emotional task of selling my Mother-In-Law's house after her untimely death in November 2007. Complicating an already difficult undertaking, was the fact that the home was in Monroe and we live in the northern Outer Banks of North Carolina. Bob was thoughtful, sensitive and easy to reach.
